On behalf of our client we are looking for an experienced Network/PC Supporter to ensure a stable and reliable operation of the network according to our client's company standards.


NETWORK / PC SUPPORTER


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:


Provide overall support for all network and PC based systems both hardware and software, including first level help desk

Provide MS Office user support and training

Develop macros, templates, MS Office customization, etc. to enhance efficiency in the use of PC applications

Maintain all account administration on the Network

Ensure all systems are backed up

Plan and perform hardware and software installations, upgrades and patches (as backup)

Monitor performance

Install and maintain virus protection procedures

Ensure software licence compliance

Provide full documentation on all systems and procedures

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED (in order of importance)


MS Windows NT/2003 Server

MS Windows NT/2000/XP Workstation

MS Office Suite

MS Exchange Server

MS Proxy Server

Citrix Metaframe

IBM Client Access (AS/400 connectivity)

LAN technology

You are support-oriented, a good team player and fluent in German and English.
