MS is developing a Microsoft Certified Architect credential, for both
'solutions' and 'infrastructure' tracks. These are hard - they will be based on industry standards (75%) and will be based on board based
interview exams not the traditional exams. There will also be an
entrance exam, and training/mentoring, capped by a final 'defence'
